The last two years have been crazy for me and it has shown with the lack of posts. I've had two more children and moved cross country among many other changes. Now that the dust has settled, I'm ready to get back at it. In celebration of all the changes I've been having, I decided to change my scrapbook blog too. I've learned a few new tricks and hopefully you will enjoy the changes too. So if you would like to follow me, you can now find me at:

LDS Blog Train - February 2015
Love Is Spoken Here
I'm back! Life has been crazy the last year and a half. Busy as can be but I'm trying hard to find some time to design again. I need to find some time to update my blog too because I have another little one to add to my "Toddlers."
This month's theme is Love Is Spoken Here. It is based off of a beautiful song found in the Children's Songbook. Here is a copy of the song if you are not familiar with it:
This is my mini kit I created to go along with the theme. I'd like to credit the following CU designers for bits and pieces of the kit: Kim Cameron Designs, Delicious Scraps, That Girl Designs, GS Creations, and Cutie Pie Scraps. Just click on the image to download.
Last, but not least, I rarely get a chance to use my own kits so I want to start making a page layout with each kit I create to use in my scrapbook. Here's one I made of some pictures I snapped while sitting around with my little one last month.

LDS Blog Train - Charity Never Faileth
Here is my kit for the month. It is based on a passage found in 1 Corinthians Chapter 13. The entire chapter is beautiful, but here is a tidbit of it:
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Charity never faileth."

LDS Blog Train - Articles of Faith
This month, we were given the theme of The Articles of Faith. I chose to use the 10th Article of Faith as inspiration as "The Gathering of Israel":
We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the
restoration of
the Ten Tribes;
that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American
continent;
that Christ will reign personally upon the earth;
and, that the
earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.

LDS Blog Train August 2012 - Armor of God
Here is my contribution for this Blog Train and one of my favorite quotes that I think is quite pertinent to this theme:
“Fairy tales are more than true – not because they tell us dragons exist,
but because they tell us dragons can be beaten.”

LDS Blog Train June 2012
Here is my set. I have three boys, so we will be doing a lot of Scouting in the years to come, so I wanted to make a kit that would correspond with all the events we go to. I had to keep to generic objects and shapes for copyright reasons, but I think I still accurately portrayed the spirit of Scouting. I hope you all enjoy!

April LDS Blog Train
This month's theme is based upon a talk by the apostle Dieter F. Uchtdorf called "Forget Me Not.". After reading it, I chose a princess theme based upon a line that caught my eye:
This file is a bit larger than most of mine usually are because I have mixed and matched my different princess combos so that there are 35 different princesses. I hope I have represented every little princess out there! I have also been trying to get better at making paper so there are more options than I normally have. Enjoy!
"It is my prayer and blessing that you will
never forget that you are
truly precious daughters in God’s kingdom."

Printing Photo Books at Viovio
For Christmas I printed my first few photo books. I used a company that I ran across called Viovio because the prices are very good and they have multiple binding and size options. When I received my first book, I was so excited and impressed. The quality is excellent and affordable. I will use them for all my photo books from here on out. Even my mom is asking me to help her get some binding done through them. Viovio is actually the company that convinced me to finally go 100% digital because their prices made it cost much less than printing at home and using sheet protectors in a binder, plus it looks so much nicer! Click on the link here or at the side of my blog to find out more!
Here are a few pictures of my books to see what I did. I buy the soft covers so that my children can easily lug them around and enjoy their books (and also it makes it less expensive to buy a replacement copy if they "over love" their books).
Also just a tip if you use them...make sure you read their book specifications on the sidebar to make the books top quality.
Stay tuned for future postings about layout templates I am creating that will be available through Viovio.

Blog Makeover
It's a New Year and a New Look! I finally decided to take the time to redo my blog's look instead of using a set template. In my scrapbooking I love bright, bold, and clean, so that is what I tried to portray in my new look. I hope you all like it!

Scripture Flannel Board Stories: Lehi's Dream
As I was preparing my Sunday School lesson for Church this week, I needed to create a visual depiction of Lehi's Dream. I decided that I would go ahead and make the pictures on the computer for fun. After spending all that time on them, I thought others may enjoy them too, so I am posting them for you to use either in class or for Family Home Evening. You will also get to see a sneak peak of the new design for my kits and blog theme that I am in the middle of working on. Enjoy!

January LDS Blog Train
Here is my creation! I really enjoyed making these elements. I grew up camping and backpacking so I have plenty of pictures that need to be used in a layout. My goal this year is to create more specific themed scrapbook kits, so when I tried to think of a theme to base Choose the Right around, one of the ideas I brainstormed was Choosing the Right Path, which naturally went well with camping.
If anyone has a specific theme they would like to have more elements created for, just leave a note in the comments and I will see if I can work it into the LDS Blog Train themes throughout the year.
Happy Scrapping and Happy New Year!

Element Ideas
If anyone has any requests for specific types of elements that I can try to incorporate into the Blog Trains next year, just let me know in the comments and I'll try my best at it. I know sometimes I am looking for just the right item for a specific page.

September LDS Blog Train
Here's my interpretation of the theme. When I saw "Let the Little Children Come," I thought of my 3-year old and the types of things he says he is thankful for in his prayers. I think his simple prayers brings a smile to those looking down on us.
